SHIPPING

While we do our best to ensure your order is properly packaged before it leaves our facility, on occasion product may get damaged, be it a transport mishap, mishandled box, or a not-so-happy delivery driver. If this happens, please reach out to us as soon as possible. Then follow these steps:

DO NOT ACCEPT ANY DELIVERY without WRITING DOWN THE DETAILS OF THE DAMAGE on the delivery form FIRST with the driver present.

  • Shipping companies will not satisfy an insurance claim without the damage noted by the customer. We cannot be held responsible for any product or powder coating damages incurred during transit. We will facilitate however a claim, on the customer’s behalf with the carrier, but it is subject to the above annotations being made on the delivery slip and approval by the carrier. If you sign for the package the shipping company will view it as rightfully yours and that you have accepted it AS IS.
  • If the package doesn’t require a signature and it has been delivered while you were not present, and you discover that the package has been delivered damaged, please take photos of the damaged package before opening it. Next, contact Trail Standard Offroad via phone or email right away to explain that the package has been delivered damaged.
  • If any items manufactured by Trail Standard Offroad are missing from your order, Trail Standard Offroad will replace these items free of charge for a duration of 15 days from the day your items ship from our facility.

If you are worried about your shipment potentially getting stolen, please have the item delivered to a different address where someone will be available to receive it. After an order is shipped, you will receive tracking information to know when the item will arrive. Trail Standard Offroad will not refund or reimburse your order in any way if the package is misplaced or stolen once the tracking info shows delivered. Trail Standard Offroad is not liable for missing of stolen items.

Shipments outside the U.S. or to AK or HI will have a higher shipping rate and require a shipping quote before ordering. Please email sales@trailstandardoffroad.com with your full shipping address and a list of the products you would like to order. We will get a shipping rate quote from our shipping company and respond letting you know how much the charges will be. Our website will not accept addresses going to AK or HI or outside the U.S. so you will need to contact us to get a shipping rate quote first and then we can explain to you how to proceed with your order. Free Shipping only applies to the lower 48 states. If for some reason the website lets you checkout with free shipping and you are having it shipped outside the lower 48, then you will be contacted to give you the option to pay for the shipping charge or cancel the order.

FREIGHT SHIPMENTS

Large items like full-size front and rear bumpers and some rock sliders ship to the freight hub nearest the customer’s residential address unless a commercial address is provided in which case the product can be sent directly to the commercial address. Please specify the business name in the shipping address section of the order form so that we know it is a commercial address. IF A BUSINESS NAME IS NOT SUPPLIED, THE SHIPMENT WILL BE SENT TO THE NEAREST FREIGHT HUB. TRAIL STANDARD OFFROAD WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY STORAGE FEES ASSOCIATED WITH FREIGHT SHIPMENTS IF THE CUSTOMER CANNOT PICK UP THEIR SHIPMENT FROM THE FREIGHT HUB WITHIN TWO DAYS OF DELIVERY. LIFTGATE SERVICE IS NOT PROVIDED IN THE SHIPPING CHARGE, THE CUSTOMER WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ADDITIONAL CHARGES. Customers must provide a forklift or other means of removing their shipment from the truck when it is delivered to a commercial address.

RETURNS

We have a 14-day return policy all product returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Returns are subject to inspection. Returned items must be in new condition. Return shipping is the buyer’s responsibility Shipping charges are not refundable. Items that ship with free shipping will have the actual shipping charge deducted from the refund. Please contact us prior to returning any products as we don’t accept returns without an RMA. Any returns made without the necessary information to clearly identify the sender will be held for 5 days and then returned to stock.

Products that have been customized or modified in any way are not eligible for returns.

After 30 days, all non-warranty-related returns are at the sole discretion of Trail Standard Offroad. If your return is approved, additional fees may be applied. The customer will be required to submit photos as proof of condition. Your product will be examined after we receive it at our facility to determine its condition before issuing your refund. The cost of return shipping is the responsibility of the customer in addition to the restocking fee.

CANCELLATION

All orders have a 3% cancellation fee. Any cancellations after 48 hours will be subject to a 15% cancellation fee. Once an order has been shipped or you have received tracking information, there are no cancellations accepted.
